Nie wiem czy koledzy śledzą poczynania firmy Espressif, ale wygląda na to, że ich układ w końcu trafił do sprzedaży. Co prawda jest dopiero w wersji chipa, ale już pojawiły się w necie opcje pre order na pierwsze moduły z tym układem. Z tego co wiem to już były nawet ich pierwsze wysyłki do klientów. Nadal nie ma jeszcze wsparcia dla arduino SDK. Kilka dni temu na github zauważyłem pierwsze kody pod arduino dla układu esp31b (chyba wcześniejsza wersja prototypu dostarczana jako demo).
Więc pewnie za kilka tygodni pojawi się też jakieś wsparcie dla finalnej wersji tego układu. W google trends jest mega ożywienie tym tematem - niemal pionowy wzrost trendu dla esp32. Układ w wersji mikrokontrolera dostępny jest do kupienia na chińskich portalach.
Układ zastąpi pewnie Esp8266 z uwagi na o wiele większe możliwości i podobną cenę - od 3 do 6$
